Welcome to Luke Farwell Photography.

To me, photography and video have always been about looking at beautiful and stunning landscapes and landmarks around the world. Take a look at how I see the world below:

Portraiture

Over the past year and a half, I’ve developed an interest and eye for capturing the expressions of those around me. Throughout that time, I’ve taken hundreds of photos and portraits of my friends and family to keep as memories. I love being able to capture the moments where people are at their happiest and are being themselves. I hope you can see that here as well.

Toronto

My hometown. I’ve loved this city throughout all the years I’ve lived here. ok, sure, the construction and subway delays SOMETIMES get on my nerves, but as I’ve grown up here, it’s extremely special to me. I’ve made memories at each end of the city, and I’ve captured thousands of photos from my explorations. The city’s beauty is always visible and its energy is always felt. Even though I’ll only be showing you a few photos I’ve taken in this special city, you’ll be able to see why it’s so special to me and everyone from here.

Havana & Varadero

When I was a young kid, before I developed an eye for photography and videography, I visited Havana, Cuba with my parents and sister. To experience such a unique country at a young age was essential in sparking curiosity inside me to experience the world and take photos and video that shares the beauty of the places I go. In February of 2020, I visited Varadero and Havana, Cuba with some friends, and I was reminded of that curiosity inside me that still burns today.

My Year - 2021:

Remember the Feeling

2021 is officially in the books. When I look back on the year — I remember and feel a lot of different emotions. A lot of positive and happy times, and some sad ones — but I also thought about how important it is to take time to remember. Not just what you experienced, but how those experiences make you feel. Watch below to hear more about last year’s big moments and what it was able to teach.
